Hiring the Hall - Photographs and FAQ

The hall laid out for a function

Who can hire the hall? 

We can accommodate regular hirers with whom we can develop a relationship and entrust with keys and alarm codes as we do not have a caretaker and so rely on hirers to open, lay out, tidy away, clean, and lock the hall.

We therefore cannot accommodate one-off requests

We prefer to support community-based organisations.

We do not hire out the hall for religious or spiritual purposes.

When is the hall available?We would need to discuss your requirements but the hall is available mainly during the day Monday to Thursday and some weekday evenings. The hall is usually not available for hire Friday to Sunday.

What facilities do we offer? One large hall; male and female toilets (we do not have disabled toilets); dedicated parking; free WiFi; a fairly well-equipped kitchen. There are two offices and a store room which are reserved for church use. We also have an outside area with gates to provide a fairly secure play area for children.

What are the fees and requirements? The cost is £15 per hour or part thereof payable in advance. Booking hours and fees are calculated from entry to exit and therefore include setup and tidying away. We also require hirers to abide by our Safeguarding regulations and to provide us with their own safeguarding risk assessment and plan.
