The Church Hall is a resource used primarily for the benefit of St Mary’s Church, its members and organisations attached to it . It is maintained voluntarily by church members without the benefit of paid caretakers or staff and is not generally hired out on either a commercial or non-profit making basis.
The PCC is willing, however, to consider the use of the hall by small, local groups that provide a service of value to people living in the parish; by the local authority for use as a Polling Station or for other meetings on an occasional basis of importance to the local community.
Anyone wishing to hire the hall should contact the Booking Clerk (Mrs Sue Edwards – 01753 527410) for further information. All hirers will be required to sign our Booking Form, provide proof of adequate insurance, agree to Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire, and, where appropriate, be fully aware of, and working within, nationally recognised Safeguarding practices.
